Consortium

BrainAble involves seven European partners who can collectively address the challenges presented by the project.

The research and development in BrainAble requires a multidisciplinary and multiorganisational approach to benefit from the state of the art in BNCI systems engineering and progress of further disciplines such as biosensors technology, affective computing, neuroscience, psychology, AmI, smart homes and social networks.

The consortium established for BrainAble covers all the necessary areas of expertise. The following chart illustrates the different development aspects merging and interacting in BrainAble to a smart system application for accessible and assistive ICT - a multimodal interface via BNCI and affective computing for disabled people to get trained and interact with their living environment and in social networks.
